Canteen Information

Both Canteens operate everyday for Infants children and Primary children at recess and lunchtime.

Recess times are: 10.55-11.15 am

Lunch times are:             1.15 pm     Mondays to Thursdays

                                  12.15 pm    Fridays

ORDERING LUNCHES

Lunches may be ordered everyday by placing a lunch bag with order and money in the green bin (Infants) and the yellow bin (Primary).

On a bag from home, write name and class plus what the child is ordering with cost written beside.

Place the money inside bag, fold a few times and place in the green lunch order bin (Infants) or yellow lunch order bin (Primary). Anything on the menu may be ordered. If an ice-cream is ordered, the canteen staff will circle that and write ‘collect’ on the order bag. It is up to the children to bring the bag to the canteen to collect all ice-creams. Lunches and drinks (hot or cold) are packed in thermal bags and delivered (by lunch monitors) to the classrooms.

ORDERING RECESS

Recess may be ordered also. Just the same as a lunch order (anything on the menu) but please, on a separate bag with a large ‘RECESS’ written on it. The canteen staff will have the orders ready to be picked up at recess by the children who order.

You don’t have to order recess, we have a range of healthy recess items that can be purchased over the counter.

CANTEEN HELPERS

Helpers are always required both on the Infants side and Primary side. Parents can help at recess and lunch time by serving or can help with preparation of recess and lunches                       .

Monday to Thursday  10 am to 2 pm        Preparing lunches

or                          12.45 pm to 2 pm    Serving at counter

                                               (Primary or Infants side)

Friday                    10.00 am to 1.30 pm      Preparing lunches

or                          11.45 am to 1.30 pm      Serving at counter

                                                    (Primary or Infants side)
